Mission

Speed is not the goal, it is the environment

FAST develops kerosene-fueled ramjet technology for sustained supersonic and hypersonic flight, enabling missions that conventional propulsion cannot efficiently serve.

Space access, ultra-fast flight, unmanned aerial vehicles: ramjet applications are countless.

Crossbow Ramjet Tests

Ground campaigns are designed to characterise ignition behaviour, flame holding, and combustion efficiency under representative high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. Telemetry and diagnostics feed directly into combustor geometry, injector design, and control logic iterations.

REC Test Infrastructure

The Ramjet Experimental Combustor (REC) provides a controlled ground environment for component-level ramjet validation, from cold-flow characterisation to hot-fire sequences. Planned campaigns with academic and institutional partners support the progressive maturation of Crossbow toward platform integration.
