FAST Aerospace had the honor of presenting its innovative aerospace technologies and its flagship project, HyperDart, at the Italian Pavilion of Expo 2025 Osaka. The presentation was delivered by Alessandro Castelvetri, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Co-founder of FAST Aerospace, during an event that brought together prominent representatives of Italian institutions and other young entrepreneurs.

The initiative was made possible through the generous support of Fondazione Della Frera, which sponsored FAST Aerospace’s participation in the Japanese mission, and was attended by leading figures from the Regione Lombardia, including its President Attilio Fontana. Their presence underscored the Region’s ongoing commitment to supporting innovation, technology, and internationalization in the aerospace sector.

During the presentation, FAST Aerospace introduced the progress of HyperDart, a reusable hypersonic air-launch system designed to provide rapid and sustainable access to space for small satellites. The company highlighted its role in advancing Italy’s capabilities in hypersonic propulsion and space transportation technologies, contributing to Europe’s growing autonomy in space access.

“Expo 2025 Osaka has been an extraordinary opportunity to present FAST to a special audience and to establish direct connections with Japan’s cutting-edge aerospace ecosystem,” said Castelvetri. “Events like this play a crucial role in fostering international dialogue and collaboration, and we are proud to represent Italian innovation on a global stage.”

FAST Aerospace’s participation in Expo Osaka marks a key step in the company’s broader strategy of building international partnerships across Asia and Oceania. The mission offered a valuable platform to connect with Japanese aerospace institutions, companies, and research centers, laying the groundwork for future cooperation in advanced propulsion, flight testing, and technology development.

The company extends its gratitude to Fondazione Della Frera for its continued support, and to Regione Lombardia for championing innovation and entrepreneurship in the aerospace domain. FAST Aerospace is proud to have represented the excellence, ambition, and ingenuity of Italy’s emerging space industry at one of the world’s most prestigious international exhibitions.
