FAST Aerospace is excited to announce its selection for the prestigious ESA BIC (European Space Agency’s Business Incubation Center) program. Over the next two years, the company will benefit from a grant of €50,000, alongside access to invaluable resources, expertise, and mentorship to support the development of its first subsonic platforms, pivotal for the development of HyperDart.
“This opportunity will allow us to leverage the cutting-edge infrastructure at Politecnico di Milano, to work closely with experienced mentors, and tap into the wealth of knowledge and networks offered by ESA,” said Alessandro Castelvetri, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Co-founder of FAST Aerospace. “The funding and support will be crucial in accelerating the prototyping and testing of FAST’s first subsonic flying platforms, agile and efficient drones designed to meet the demands of research, focusing on guidance and control algorithms and subsonic aerodynamics.”
The selection for the ESA BIC program solidifies FAST Aerospace’s role as an emerging player in the aerospace startup ecosystem, enhancing the company’s ability to contribute to Italy’s growing tech ecosystem. The company extends its gratitude to ESA BIC and the Politecnico di Milano for their support and looks forward to making significant progress on the HyperDart program.
